The Cascade Swim Center will be closed July 2nd and 3rd for the RACE swim meet.


Due to the number of lifeguards available, recreation swim at the Cascade Swim Center will be limited to 70 people. Due to the limited space, spectators will be 

charged as well. 


The Activity Center is offering group fitness classes, the weight room, cardio room and racquetball court are open.  Reservations are no longer required.  

There are virtual group fitness and Aqua Fitness classes available as well.  You may register for a virtual fitness class by clicking here



July 4th Field Games Event

Redmond’s Mini Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration, July 4, 2021 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm at American Legion Park. This is a free, fun, family event so gather up your family and spend the afternoon with us playing field games and winning July 4th themed prizes.

Redmond Rock Chuck Open

Redmond Area Park and Recreation District is hosting the Redmond Rock Chuck Open pickleball tournament on July 9-11, presented by Brookdale Senior Living.  This event will be in round robin format with planned skills brackets of 2.5 – 4.0+ in Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Men’s Doubles.   All proceeds benefit the RAPRD scholarship fund.

Summer Activity Club

RAPRD in partnership with REACH has planned a fun summer of day camps for youth in Kindergarten – fifth grades.  Each camp will offer a variety of art, science, nature, and movement activities.

 RAPRD is committed to providing a fun, memorable and safe camp experience. We will be monitoring state and federal guidelines and will adapt our programs as needed, to ensure the safety of all participants.  We will be maintaining smaller, stable group sizes. Each camp will have a maximum of 20 campers in a pod with the same staff during the camp. We will be selecting activities based on the ability to maintain physical distancing and reduce touchpoints We will communicate any changes to families as guidelines are updated.
