RAPRD offers a wealth of programs that any age can enjoy. From sports leagues to art classes, summer camps , and many outdoor activities, you’ll find that there’s plenty going on around town that you can enjoy. If you have an idea for a program that you would like to see offered, please contact the recreation office.

Beginner & Advanced Kendo for Youth and Adults
Did you miss out on Kendo? You are in luck. We have added a session 2 for Beginner and Advanced. Session 2 begins TU, April 4th and will be held at the Redmond Proficiency Academy. See page 8 of the activity guide. Registration deadline is 1 week prior to class start.

Youth Lacrosse Leagues

Rock Art: More Than Just Images
Back by popular demand. The
Archaeological Society of Central
Oregon invites you to a FREE demonstration where you will explore the topic of petroglyphs and pictographs, the ancient images found on rocks. This FREE demonstration is for ages 8-100, May 2nd, 4:00-5:00pm at the Cascade Swim Center. Pre-registration is required for this event. For all of the details check page 7 in the activity guide.
Smith Rock BMX Skills Clinic
The dates are in for 2 sessions of the Smith Rock BMX Skills Clinic. Sessions are April and May. For the details see page 8 of the activity guide.

Flamenco Dance Lessons
Why dance Flamenco? To build confidence, improve brain health, posture, balance and have fun! Anyone can learn whether you are 7 or 70. Flamenco can be for beginners, those who have tried other forms of dance and for those who have danced flamenco before.
