FITNESS & WELLNESS

All year long, RAPRD offers a variety of classes designed to help you stay healthy, active, and fit. Each class is taught by one of our trusted instructors. If you feel like getting out of the house and getting your heart rate up, check out the link below.

ACTIVITIES

RAPRD offers a wealth of programs that any age can enjoy. From sports leagues to art classes, summer camps , and many outdoor activities, you’ll find that there’s plenty going on around town that you can enjoy. If you have an idea for a program that you would like to see offered, please contact the recreation office.

AQUATICS

RAPRD operates the Cascade Swim Center, which has a 25 meter indoor pool, a seasonal wading pool and spray pad.  We offer lap swim, aqua wellness classes, recreation swims, swim lessons, youth swim team, masters swimming, and waterpolo.

Co-Ed Pre-K Basketball League

Pre-k basketball introduces our youngest superstars to their new favorite sport! The pre-k league focuses on positive social interactions and basic fundamental skills. All pre-k teams are co-ed. Each team plays 5 Saturday games from 11/6-12/16. No game on Saturday, 11/23 (Thanksgiving).

Co-Ed Kinder Basketball League

Kindergarten basketball is a fun, positive and interactive experience for children wanting to learn how to play basketball. All kindergarten teams are

co-ed. Teams practice once a week at Redmond area schools. Each team plays 5 Saturday games. No games on 11/25 (Thanksgiving).

1st & 2nd Grades Basketball Leagues

The 1st & 2nd grade leagues focus on basic skill development, positive social interaction, and team building. Teams practice once a week and play every Saturday from 11/6-12/16. No games on 11/25 (Thanksgiving).

Registration deadline for the above listed leagues is Tuesday, September 19th.

Bond Oversight Committee

We are accepting applications for volunteers for our Bond Oversight Committee. The purpose of this committee is to oversee the expenditures and use of the 2022 General Obligation Bond proceeds to ensure that they are used on the types of projects stated in the Bond Measure. Fill out an application (PDF) and return to Katie Hammer, RAPRD Executive Director or mail to PO Box 843, Redmond, OR 97756 or drop off the application at the Cascade Swim Center, 465 SW Rimrock Way, Redmond, OR.
