The summer is flying by and fall is right behind it. Kids will soon be back in school with our Kindergarten kids going full days. The Yucky Yak has some great new classes for our little ones. Judi Williamson is back with some great art projects to get involved with. Join her classes and learn a new skill for those cold evenings when you are inside. We are also offering a weaving class, join in and learn to create your own beautiful textile.
Adventure Quest begins on September 8th and has a great line-up of exciting and educational activities. On page 9 of the guide you will see a full page of great after school activities to get your kids involved in. On page 10 we have some really interesting DIY (do it yourself) classes for all age groups. Learn to repurpose clothing or learn costume makeup tips and tricks - you'll have the best looking kids on Halloween!
Join a baking class or make a incrediable gingerbread house. You can impress all of your friends with these skills. Grab your Mom to join you in these classes for a fun bonding time. Lego Robotics 1 and 2 are back if you are interested in building a "thinking" robot. Karate, gymnastics and archery are back with more age groups. Have you experienced Slackline? Do you know what it is? Sign up and find out about this fastinating, relatively new sport. We bet you'll fall in love with it!
Open gym basketball at Obsidian begins October 5th. The Men's City League Basketball will begin in January. Time to get your team together - the registration deadline is Friday, December 27th. To top it off, we will have an Adult Holiday Choir with the Chad Campbell Music Studio. This is the first time for the Adult Holiday Choir and there will be several performances to invite your family and friends to. Last but not least, the Redmond Ice Skating Rink will open in November for the 5th season. We are so excited to present a jam packed Fall Activity Guide to you.
