Program Capacity at The Hub Recreation Center

To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well‑managed experience for all visitors, The Hub uses defined capacity limits for our aquatics, fitness, and gym programs. These limits are based on safety standards, staff-to-participant ratios, available equipment, and the physical size of each activity space.

Drop‑In Program Access

Many of our activities at The Hub — including open swim, lap swim, open gym, and fitness classes — operate as drop‑in programs. Drop‑in access is offered on a first‑come, first‑served basis for both cash‑paying patrons and active members.

To keep the experience fair and consistent for everyone:

  • Entry is granted in the order guests arrive, regardless of payment type.

  • Once a program reaches its capacity, staff will admit additional participants only as others leave.

  • Members do not receive priority placement in drop‑in programs; however, membership still provides valuable benefits such as unlimited facility access and discounted use
