RAPRD believes in the philosophy of inclusion, which means that regardless of ability or disability everyone deserves the opportunity to participate and recreate. We have three types of adaptive programs.
ADAPTIVE RECREATION PROGRAMS
OUTDOOR ICE SKATING RINK
The City of Redmond and the Redmond Area Park and Recreation District partner to operate and maintain the portable ice skating rink and provide an economical and fun activity for families to enjoy during the winter season.
DOWNTOWN REDMOND'S OUTDOOR ICE SKATING RINK
Ice Rink Status: Due to the warm weather, the ice rink is closed for the season (2/11/22) See you all next year!
Downtown Redmond Plaza on 7th St. between Deschutes & Evergreen Ave. Additional parking available at the old Redmond City Hall Parking lot.
The hours that staff will be at the rink, renting skates are:
December 16, 2021 - January 2, 2022
Friday & Saturday 2:00pm—10:00pm
January 3 - January 30, 2022
Friday & Saturday 3:00pm—10:00pm
Hours are subject to change and are weather dependent. Each skater is required to have a waiver on file. You will be provided with a waiver at the rink or you can download the waiver here and bring it with you.
$5.00 - including skate rental
$1.25 - if you provide your own skates
$15.00 - family rate (for family members who reside in the same household - maximum of six).

FREE SKATE :
Bring your own skates and skate free of charge. (Please note; the ice surface isn't groomed for free skate and it may be closed if there is snow on the rink, the ice is soft or if there are other safety hazards.)
