We continue to grow the Redmond Area Park and Recreation District. Through RFPs (request for proposals) and project updates to keep you in the loop on how we are doing, we will continue to make great strides and improvements in our offerings to you our community.



Redmond Area Park and Recreation District conducted a Recreation Center Feasibility study to look at the programming and operational needs of a new Recreation Center.  This study will prioritize the needs and desires for upgrading and improving recreational facilities and services and determine the current and future level of services


We worked with GreenPlay, LLC to complete this study.  We hosted a public meeting in June 2017 along with some smaller focus group meetings.  You view what we heard from those that participated by clicking here.


A second opportunity for the community to voice their opinion occurred on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.  GreenPlay presented preliminary findings at this public meeting.  You can see the presentation here.

The RAPRD is requesting voter consideration for $40 million bond measure  to design and construct a new community center along with a local option levy to pay for operations on May 21, 2019.  More information about these measures can be found here.
