Text Box: Parent Association for Youth Sports (PAYS) SOCCER & CHEERLEADING Orientation The Redmond Area Park and Recreation District requires the parents of every sports league participant to complete a forty-five minute orientation prior to the beginning of participation in program. The orientation, developed by PAYS (Parent Association for Youth Sports), is designed to educate and motivate parents to create a youth sports environment that is safe, positive, meaningful and fun for all involved. Both parents must complete the orientation. Look for “PAYS Orientation required” in our program descriptions. Doors close five minutes after the start of the orientation. Late arrivals will not be admitted. Because of limited space, we prefer children do not attend these classes. Thank you. PAYS TRAINING IS GOOD FOR TWO YEARS — ARE YOU EXPIRED? NAYS (National Associates for Youth Sports) Coach’s Clinic

 

This clinic is mandatory for those who would like to coach flag football or soccer but have not attended before.  We also require our coaches to fill out a coach’s volunteer form and consent to a background check.  For all past coaches, please be advised the background check must be updated every year.

Recreational Fall Soccer (Grades PreK--8th)

 

Join us for recreational soccer this fall.  This youth league will run for eight weeks, beginning in September. Games are on Saturdays, with one to two practices during the week. PAYS Orientation Required. 

Cost: $55.00 I/D      $71.50 O/D

 

                            Registration deadline is July 26th.

Cheerleading - Soccer (Grades 1st--8th)

 

Build coordination and dance skills through cheerleading.  Participants will learn cheerleading etiquette, drills and routines. Participants will perform Saturdays at local youth games.

PAYS Orientation required. 

Cost: $55.00 I/D      $71.50 O/D
