Learn about performing first aid, diapering & feeding techniques, interviewing for a babysitting job, choosing safe & age-appropriate toys & games, handling bedtime issues, and ensuring a safe babysitting experience.

Basic First Aid

 

Children will learn what to do in an emergency situation.  The class teaches youth response skills as well as ways to prevent & care for wounds, nosebleeds, falls, animal bites, and choking victims.  Children will be empowered to make the right decision in an emergency situation.

Our Children need to be prepared for many challenges in today’s world.  This class is designed to empower children to respond safely to a variety of “home alone” situations, especially in emergency situations when making difficult decisions.  Children will develop a strong sense of confidence & responsibility along with the ability to feel safe and in control when home alone.
