Text Box: CASCADE NOVICE PROGRAM The Cascade Novice Program is an advance level of the swim lesson program at the Cascades Swim Center and a feeder program for the Cascade Aquatic Club. The novice program is centered on learning swimming skills. During the first few lessons, swimmers will be assigned to one of two groups with others of similar age and skills. The Cascade Novice Program is open to children attending grades one through eight who can swim one length of crawl stroke with side breathing and one length of back crawl stroke in a level position.
