Approximately 36% of the district's annual budget is funded through tax dollars in the Redmond district. The majority of the remaining funds are generated through program fees. The board of directors and staff at RAPRD has placed a large emphasis on fiscal responsibility. Each new program we offer has to be financially self supporting. In order to continue to develop programs and increase the array of services we offer private funding is essential. Several giving options are available to private donors, local businesses, and private foundations. Sponsor a billboard at the High Desert Sports Complex Benefits: Ability to reach thousands of Redmond Areaians. The High Desert Sports Complex is utilized by soccer leagues, softball leagues, bmx enthusiasts and more. Low cost. Please see our rates listed below. Positive community image. By advertising with RAPRD your business will be partnering with a well respected public entity. Rates: $135 each year. This includes the cost to make the sign. Donations Donations made to the Redmond Area Park and Recreation District will be included in the general funding of operations unless you specifically request the program where you would like your donation directed. Here are a few reasons to make RAPRD a positive choice for your charitable giving. RAPRD offers scholarships to residents in need. We realize the cost of participating in our programs can be a financial barrier to many local families. Hence we offer scholarships based on need and availability. Your kind donation can increase the availability of scholarship. All donations to RAPRD are tax deductible. Upon receiving your donation we will issue you an official receipt that can be used to deduct the donation from you taxes. Sponsorship Opportunities Redmond Area Park and Recreation District offers a sponsorship program giving you the opportunity to sponsor an individual child or a team. Why should you become a sponsor? Redmond Area Park and Recreation District has provided youth sports programs for over ten years. We not only know what we are doing, but we also know why we are doing it. We want to live, work and play in a stronger, healthier and overall better community, just like you do. And just like you want for your children. Sponsorship Opportunities exist for many of the programs RAPRD offers including: Youth Basketball, Soccer, Cheerleading, Sports Camps, Flag Football, Tennis, and more. Sponsorship Costs:       Team Sponsors: $125 You will have your company's name and/or logo on your sponsored teams uniforms. You can list your sponsorship on written or displayed material for the duration of your sponsorship. You will receive a souvenir team photo for display at your place of business. Your business will be a part of the RAPRD overall excitement and will be involved in your community.       Individual Sponsors: $45 You will have enabled one child the opportunity to grow by participating in a fun and positive learning experience.
