Redmond Ice Skating Rink
The Redmond Ice Skating Rink is opened for it's second season. The rink is located at the downtown Redmond plaze on SW 7th Street. Come prepared to skate at there are no changing rooms available. Occasional closures may be necessary in the event of poor weather conditions such as temperatures above 50 degrees, wind, rain or snow.
Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt
Ages 5 to 18 years. Bring your basket and find those eggs. All children with disabilities are invited to join us at Quince Park for an Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your basket and join the fun. Saturday, March 30, 2013, 11:00am-1:00pm. This is a FREE event.
Earth Day 2013
The Redmond Parks Foundation, City of Redmond and RAPRD invite you to celebrate Earth Day 2013 with us. Volunteer at a local park project or just stop by and visit the vendors. Activities will begin at 10:00am and will run throughout the day. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the American Legion Community Park.
Redmond Community Garden - Adopt-a-bed
If you are interested in adopting a bed in the Redmond Community Garden, or if you would like to support the garden in any way, please contact RAPRD Enrichment Coordinator, Courtney Moran, at 541-526-1847 or email her at courtney.moran@raprd.org. The Redmond Community Garden opens on Earthday, April 20, 2013. You can adopt-a-bed for $20.00 per season.
Rat Race 2013
Mark your calendar for the August 10, 2013 Trinity Bikes Rat Race. This is the fourth year of the multi-aport event in Redmond. The event is a pool-based spirit triathlon, duathlon, 5K/10K run and kids race that is centered around Redmond's Cascade Swim Center. The triathlon consists of a 500 meter swim, a 12 mile bike ride and a 5K/10K run. Both individual and team competitors are welcome. The durathlon portion of the race will consist of the ride then run format. Mail-in and online registration is available. Register early, the cost increases on July 1st.
