Adventure Combos -
Are your kids interested in adventures? Our
adventure combos is the perfect way for your child
to be introduced to new activities in a safe way
with instructors who know their sports. Grades
3rd-7th.

Kayak and Climb
- Bring the outdoors in while trying these two
Central Oregon classics. Instructors will work with
participants to teach safety and skill fundamentals
then allow them time to explore the sport in a safe,
structured environment. All gear is included in
activity fee.
Ice Skate and Snorkel
- Opposites attract when it comes to these two water
sports. Carve your way to success both above and
below the water.
SK8 and BMX
- Explore these two summer X-game specialties right
in your own back yard. This adventure is the perfect
opportunity for your child to try them out without a
long-term commitment.

Beginning Ice Skating
- Grades 1st-5th. Each participant will be provided
with a set of skates and instruction. Choose from a
one-day option or a three-day class that will
introduce participants to skating techniques and
give them an opportunity to play games with friends.

Frisbee
Disk Golf-
Grades 2nd-8th. Disk golf is
one of the up and coming recreational activities.
Never played? This is the perfect opportunity to
learn a new sport. Join our staff for a fun and
possibly competitive game of Frisbee disk golf here
in Redmond.

Beginning SK8 Class -
Grades 1st-5th. This class is great for the beginning rider. Learn to
ride, push, turn, switch turn, ride fakie, olly and
more. Emphasis on skate park safety, increasing
confidence and riding within your ability. Antidote
is offering a 20% discount at their store on 6th
Street in Redmond to all participants.

Bike Scavenger Hunt - Grades 2nd-8th. Bring a bike and thinking cap for a Dry Canyon Scavenger Hunt. A morning filled with clues, bike riding and prizes will get your kids thinking and working with others to solve clues and find the prize. Please bring plenty of water, wear close-toed shoes and bike approved helmet; glasses or sunglasses are recommended. Meet at the Redmond Skate Park. Click for details.
Intro to BMX - Ages 6-14. This one day class provides an introduction to Beginning BMX (below). Participants will begin learning to negotiate the obstacles on the dirt track and have the opportunity to see if they enjoy racing. The instructor is a three time Oregon State champion, has attended the Olympic Training Center, teaches clinics to youth throughout Oregon and actively trains riders for Answer BMX Pro Supercamp. Beginning BMX - Ages 6-14. Learn to ride like the best and experience one of the newest Olympic sports. You'll be taught to negotiate the obstacles on our nearly 1,100 foot dirt track through step-ups, doubles, rhythm sections and more. You training will include 3 one-hour sessions with direct instructions, a one year USA BMX membership and you will get to compete in two action packed racing events using the gates. Snowshoe Basics at Edison Butte Sno-Park - Grade 5th to Adult. This course is an introduction to snowshoeing. We will discuss different types of gear and shoe around Edison Butte Sno-Park. We'll start on the groomed trails and after the group is more comfortable, head off-trail for a backcountry adventure. Snowshoes are provided in cost of activity. Middle School Sled & Snowshoe at Frank Ellis Sno-Park - Grades 5th-8th. Join your friends for some fun in the snow. We start with an introduction to snowshoeing, explore the groomed trails and then break trail for a backcountry adventure to the main park. After a quick change out of snowshoes we will head up the hill for some first class sledding down on of the best sledding areas in Central Oregon. Transportation is provided from the RAPRD Activity Center. Click for details.
Tubing
at Hoodoo Autobahn
- Grades 3rd-7th. What
could be more fun on a non-school day than racing
friends down the Hoodoo Autobahn? Each participant
will get 10 runs; tubes are provided. If your child
attends Adventure Quest this field trip can be a fun
addition to a non-school day. There will be two pick
up locations, the RAPRD Activity Center and Tom
McCall Elementary School.
