RAPRD Group Fitness

We have a large variety of aerobic programs to offer individuals of all ages and fitness levels. The beauty of our programs is that you can drop-in on a class, try it out to see if that's a class for you or purchase a punch card or monthly pass and take a variety of classes to "mix-it-up" and keep yourself motivated. Forever Active- Ages 14 and up. Have fun and move to music through a variety of low impact moves; along with added strength exercises designed to increase range of movement, flexibility, balance and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance. This is a great class for the beginner or the active older adult. No child activities during this class. This class begins September 8th, Monday & Wednesday; 8:00-9:00AM.

Movement that Matters - For ages 50 and up - Join certified trainer, Alicia Smith in starting a regular fitness program, a vital step in staying healthy, strong and independent. Moderate exercise maintains and improves balance, joint flexibility, bone density, strength and increases overall fitness. This class incorporates sitting and standing exercises. Great for those who have been sedentary or are returning to an exercise program after a break. Classes are held at the Redmond Senior Center, 325 NW Dogwood, Redmond. Fit Over 50 - For ages 50 and up - Join certified trainer, Alicia Smith for Fit over 50. This class incorporates strength training, core improvement, balance and stretching into your fitness program. The class is taught using stability balls, resistance bands and dumb bells. Bring your own ball and bands to class, dumbbells are provided. Instructor has a limited number of balls to try the class. PI-YO - Ages 14 and up. A blend of Pilates and Yoga movements. Along with added strength and core conditioning, this class is designed to help with flexibility, posture and focus on the core muscles. Flexibility is the most over looked element of fitness; make it a part of your schedule. Click for details.

Powercut 2Powercut Plus - Ages 14 and up. Grab your friends for a party! This weight lifting class uses free-weighs, bands, fitness balls and great music to get you through an hour of head to toe muscle work. Every class is different. All levels welcomed. Click for details.

Step Circuit - Ages 14 and up. Train your heart and muscles in this motivating class by alternating step moves and strength training exercises using free weighs and tubes. You heart will get pumping for sure. Click for details.

Cardio Combo - Ages 14 and up. Kick up your heart rate in this high energy class that includes various formats of cardio. You will truly be cross training with step, kickboxing and sports related intervals. Perfect for those who want to "change it up." Click for details.

Kickboxing - Ages 14 and up. Jab, cross, hook and uppercut will be the terminology used to get your heart racing in this pre-choreographed martial arts based class. The focus of this class is cardiovascular endurance along with sections of added weights concentrating on all the upper body muscle groups.

Power Abs - This 10-minute class will concentrate on strengthening the abs and lower back. Free if taken with Zumba or Kickboxing. Click for details.

Zumba Gold - Ages 14 and up. Experience the dynamic energy of Zumba in a low impact version. This class is great for active older participants or a true beginner with no previous fitness experience who wishes to add the fusion of Latin moves to their workout. Click for details.

step and absStep & Abs - Ages 14 and up. Join this fun choreographed cardio workout with an addition of abs strengthening. This class is great for burning calories with a strong focus on the core. Click for details.

Fall Fitness Kick-Off - Ages 14 and up. Come join the party and kick off the new Fall Fitness Schedule in this motivating multi-formatted class! This class is designed for all fitness levels and taught by multiple instructors in 90 minutes of fun. Now is the chance to sample that format you may have wanted to try.

Annual Turkey Trot - Ages 14 and up. Put your turkey in the oven and trot to class. Join the party and burn the calories in this great Thanksgiving Fitness class. This class is designed for all fitness levels and taught by multiple instructors in 90 minutes of fun. Now is the chance to sample that format you may have wanted to try. Personal Training - Personal training offers you the opportunity to work exclusively with a Certified Trainer whose primary focus is to help you reach new heights in fitness, whatever your goals are. Taekwondo

Acrovision Taekwon-Do
- Taught by 6th degree, Master Gustafson, this Taekwon-Do class provides an opportunity for students to train in a complete martial arts system. Taekwon-Do, translation foot, fist way, is a Korean Martial art that dates back over 2000 years. This class provides an opportunity for students to learn respect, Korean culture, discipline, fitness, self-defense and provides a means for enhancing self-confidence. Through the 5 tenets; courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit, students find that what they learn in class can be translated and practiced in their everyday lives. Uniforms are required and will be available at the Activity Center starting at $35.00. Click for details.
