Fundraising

The Redmond Area Park and Recreation District is funded through a combination of public funds, private donations and program fees. Approximately 36% of the district's annual budget is funded through tax dollars in the Redmond district. The majority of the remaining funds are generated through program fees. The board of directors and staff at RAPRD has placed a large emphasis on fiscal responsibility. Each new program we offer has to be financially self supporting.

In order to continue to develop programs and increase the array of services we offer private funding is essential. Several giving options are available to private donors, local businesses and private foundations.
