Voice with Kim MacTaggart
Ages 13-18. Voice class is designed for students who enjoy singing and wish to improve their vocal technique. Working in a group session is a fun and engaging way to learn. We will cover breathing, body alignment, phrasing, dictation, intonation, tone quality and will work to enhance musicianship skills and build confidence in performance. This is a safe and encouraging atmosphere for any experience level.

Guitar Levels 1, 2, 3 for ages 13-18
Level 1 - Participants must know at least 14 parts of their guitar and be able to play the scale exercise clearly and in rhythm. They must be able to play 3-finger A, D and E chords.
Level 2 - Participants must have all of Level 1 prerequisites plus be able to tune their guitar by ear, be able to play at least 2 songs using the A, D and E chords, be able to play the major scales clearly and in rhythm and be able to read basic notes and rhythms on the treble clef and how to play those notes on the guitar.
Level 3 - Participants must have Level 1 and 2 prerequisites plus know the G, F and C chords. Must be able to switch smoothly between these and the A, D and E chords. Must understand the basics of accidentals in relation to the staff and the guitar and be able to perform "hammer ons" and "pull offs" with all four fingers.

Brown Bag Art-n-More
Grades 4th-8th. Join us for Renaissance Kids and Art History discussion. Bring a sack lunch and learn about the history of art while you eat before creating your own art projects. All supplies included in the cost of class.

Renaissance Kids
Ages 13-18. Join Paul Harris as you explore the world of art through several different methods and world of art through several different methods and mediums. Each session is 4 weeks with no repeated subject matters, only cohesive themes. All materials included.
Week 1 - Pen & Ink: Kids go on a safari through the African savannas. Students begin working with medium by drawing a loin progressing to a giraffe, zebra, rhinoceros, ostrich and wildebeest in the following sessions.
Week 2 - Oil Pastels: A pare still-life is the subject of this class. Oil pastels give students opportunities to blend colors on the canvas to create a beautiful piece of art.
Week 3 - Watercolor & Pastels: With an introduction into paint, students will enjoy creating a starfish and ocean scene.
Week 4 - Pastels: Flowers are the subject of this medium. Let your little Van Goghs blossom while learning to blend and shade with chalky pastels.

Drawing for Youth
Grades 3rd-8th. Learn the art of drawing by building upon skills taught. You will draw what you see by studying shape, line, shading and perspective. Learn how to draw what you see. All supplies included in the cost of class.
